Andy Helms’ Serious About Not Being Serious 8-Bit Geek Art
If the pixel art in games like Sword and Sworcery gets you excited, then you’re going to love the geek-tastic creations made by artist and visual designer, Andy Helm. His “serious about not being serious” 8-bit, 80′s inspired artwork is delightfully enjoyable to look through, and pretty unique.
He also makes excellent GIF files, and cool movie posters for films such as Jurassic Park, Star Wars, and the Indiana Jones trilogy (cause the 4th one didn’t happen). Sometimes he even shows off his skills by drawing with ink and paints, which you’ll see in the selection of his works offered up below.
For more on Andy, you can check out his Tumblr account, and if your interested you can purchase a few of his creations over at Mighty Fine. Now for the art, enjoy!
